Jon Pocock is a Senior lecturer in Chemical Engineering who works closely with the WASH R&D Centre focusing on measurement and evolution of the physical and chemical properties of faecal sludge and urine and their affect on treatment processes. His background is in chemical and minerals engineering and he has extensive experience of teaching and curriculum design. To this end, he has been heavily involved in the design of the future MSc Sanitation within the WASH Centre as well as supervision and co-supervision of research Masters candidates and PhD candidates.
