Kerry has worked as a co-ordinator of externally-funded research groups at UKZN since 2004, first in Environmental Sciences, and since 2009 in the WASH R&D Centre.

Kerry oversees the administration and finance of the Centre’s operation. Since the Centre has expanded considerably in the past few years, she is now assisted by Eddie Mbolekwa, Lungi Ndlela, Nombuso Mtshali and Luyanda Madlala.
